ABOUT US

The Malayalee Welfare Association - Bhiwadi (MWSB) stands as a beacon of hope, unity, and service for Malayalees residing in Rajasthan and neighboring states. Since its inception, MWSB has been deeply committed to preserving Kerala's rich cultural heritage while simultaneously addressing the real-life challenges faced by our community. Our mission is not just about celebration but about ensuring that every Malayalee living away from their homeland feels a sense of belonging, security, and pride.

Preserving Culture, Building Unity

MWSB plays a crucial role in keeping the spirit of Kerala alive among Malayalees living far from their homeland. We actively promote Kerala's traditions through cultural programs, Onam and Vishu celebrations, literary events, and Malayalam language workshops. These programs are not just about festivities, but about creating meaningful connections that allow individuals to relive the warmth and vibrancy of Kerala's culture. By engaging both the older and younger generations, we ensure that our rich heritage is carried forward with pride, passing on traditional knowledge and values to the next generation. Our organization serves as a cultural bridge, connecting Malayalees from different regions and backgrounds, and fostering unity among various Malayalee groups. Through these activities, we not only preserve our customs but also build a strong, cohesive community that continues to grow. We believe that by celebrating our cultural roots, we strengthen the bonds that tie us together and provide a sense of belonging, helping each individual to feel connected to Kerala no matter where they are.

Kerala Flood Relief Efforts 2018

In the devastating floods of 2018 that struck Kerala and disrupted the lives of millions, the Malayalee Welfare Samaj Bhiwadi family stood united in solidarity and compassion. Understanding the urgent need for assistance, we organized a comprehensive flood relief material collection drive, gathering and dispatching essential supplies to the affected areas of Kerala. This noble initiative not only brought much-needed aid to those in distress but also exemplified the strength, unity, and empathy of our community. Every contribution, big or small, made by our members played a vital role in easing the suffering of our fellow Keralites during this crisis. We remain deeply grateful to each individual who participated in this effort, for their selfless support and commitment to humanitarian values. This mission stands as a lasting testament to the spirit of compassion and service that defines our community, inspiring us to continue working towards the well-being of others.

MWSB's Efforts for a Greener and Healthier Bhiwadi

Recognizing the environmental challenges posed by rapid industrialization, MWSB has taken a proactive step towards combating pollution in Bhiwadi through large-scale tree plantation drives. With rising air pollution and declining green cover, we believe that sustainability starts with action. Our initiative not only helps purify the air but also nces the quality of life for the residents. By planting thousands of trees in key areas, we aim to create a natural shield against pollution, provide shade, and support biodiversity. Beyond just planting, we ensure the long-term care and tenance of these trees, fostering a culture of environmental responsibility. Through community involvement, awareness campaigns, and collaboration with local authorities, MWSB is committed to transforming Bhiwadi into a cleaner, healthier, and greener place to live.

A Legacy of Support and Service

When the world faced an unprecedented crisis during the COVID-19 pandemic, MWSB rose to the occasion. At a time when fear and uncertainty gripped everyone, and when very few were ready to take the initiative, we stepped forward to provide essential aid to those in need. Through our dedicated team of volunteers, we distributed ration kits to struggling families in Bhiwadi, ensuring that no one in our community went hungry. Our unwavering commitment to humanity was not just limited to providing food but also extended to helping people navigate medical emergencies, offering emotional support, and ensuring that no one felt abandoned in the face of adversity.

Beyond Crisis - A Commitment to Well-Being

MWSB doesn't limit itself to crisis management. Our work extends to holistic community development, with a focus on the overall well-being of every individual. We conduct free health check-up camps, providing access to quality healthcare for underprivileged sections of society, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their financial status, has the opportunity to receive medical attention. These initiatives are not only aimed at treating ailments but also at promoting awareness about healthy living and preventive care. From organizing blood donation drives to spreading awareness about preventive healthcare, we believe that a healthy community is a strong community. In addition to physical health, our programs also focus on mental well-being, offering counseling and support to those going through difficult times. Our efforts are rooted in the belief that a comprehensive approach to health and wellness will empower individuals to live fulfilling lives. These initiatives are designed to bridge the gap in medical access and ensure that no one in our community is deprived of the care they deserve, laying the foundation for a healthier, more resilient society.
